Questions for women who have worked with her husband in a family business tips please?
My husband and I are thinking about taking charge of your business family in the next year. (It is a real estate Develpment and golf combined) We talked about my shoulder much of the administration. responsibilities, as books, and am also a realtor. My husband handled the golf course and clubhouse. I am looking for advice from other couples who work together and how handle it. What are your biggest challenges, and is a good or bad influence on your marriage? Also, how the husband of being "the boss" in the office, but an equal in the factory of origin to you.
I worked with my husband both as employees in a small team of a company (where we are) and have continued to work with him occasionally over the years and now are working together in an office and working in a small business together. For us it is wonderful to be working together because we get along so well, and our skills complement each other perfectly rational business - behind him at the scene and I in front of customers. At home is no different but I admit that my husband is very easy to get along with what may be the reason. My advice to you is that if you feel you need to get away from it for a couple of hours after telling him to go shopping / movie with a girlfriend / for a walk. My other advice is better to try very hard not to bring 'work home with you - Both documents and topics. If you have a problem at work and then discuss and resolve on the spot - do not wait until both are in bed about to fall asleep. Otherwise, you will feel like you never get away from the "office". But with you two pulling in the same direction, can only help you get there faster - Good luck!
